How we rate Hotels

On this website and in our YouTube reviews we rate hotels, flights and lounges. Our ratings are based on a detailed, transparent system that covers every aspect of your stay or flight.

Here we would like to share the base on which we rate the different areas.

Below is a long list of topics with all aspect that we rated out of 10. Following the meaning:

  • 0 points = very poor
  • 10 points = fully meets expectations
  • Non-existent aspects are not rated so as not to distort the average

All scores of the individual aspects are used to calculate the average score, which is then published in our reviews on this website. Finally, we calculate the overall score from all sub-categories, rounded up or down, and share them with you here and in our YouTube reviews.
